“Dr. Katrina S. Chance, DBA, MAOM, FSC™, is a leadership strategist, trainer, consultant, nonprofit executive, and early childhood advocate with more than 30 years of experience strengthening people, programs, and community-centered organizations. She is the founder of Chance Training & Consulting™ and creator of the M.I.N.D. Your Business with H.E.A.R.T.™ – Part II leadership framework, which helps leaders build sustainable systems through strategy, accountability, equity, relationships, and transformation.”

Dr. Katrina S. Chance, DBA, MAOM, FSC™, is a nonprofit executive, leadership strategist, trainer, consultant, and early childhood advocate with more than 30 years of experience in organizational leadership, early childhood education, workforce development, family engagement, and community-centered systems change. She is also a certified member of the John Maxwell Team with a parent designation, strengthening her work in leadership development, coaching, and transformational growth.

Her professional journey includes leadership across family child care, private early learning, higher education, Head Start/Early Head Start, and nonprofit executive administration. She has led multi-site programs, supported compliance and continuous quality improvement systems, managed cross-sector partnerships, and worked with boards, educators, families, small business owners, and community leaders to strengthen programs and people.

Dr. Chance is the founder of Chance Training & Consulting™, where she helps nonprofit leaders, early childhood practitioners, small business owners, boards, and community-centered professionals build sustainable systems with purpose, accountability, and heart. Her work is grounded in her signature leadership model, M.I.N.D. Your Business with H.E.A.R.T.™, a practical framework designed to help leaders clarify mission, invest in people and systems, navigate change, and practice discipline while leading with human leadership, equity, accountability, relationships, and transformation.

A committed community leader, Dr. Chance has served in several civic and board leadership roles, including President of the Rockingham Rotary Club, Board Chair of the Richmond County Chamber of Commerce, and Board Chair of the United Way of Richmond County. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to increasing the visibility, mobility, and professionalism of early childhood practitioners, small business owners, and community-based leaders.

Dr. Chance’s professional contributions and leadership have been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in America, reflecting her longstanding commitment to nonprofit leadership, early childhood education, workforce development, and community impact.
